This classic piece has stood the test of time and has continued to please players and listeners for the past 300 years. Jean-Baptiste Loeillet, a keyboard teacher himself, adopted London as his permanent home and pleased audiences in England for decades with his performances and compositions. This interactive SuperScore edition includes interesting comments about the work, Loeillet’s instrument of choice, and practice tips for learning and performing the work. The score features a MIDI performance by Andrew Harbridge. Both hands have been split in the recording to facilitate one-hand-at-a-time practice. Andrew Harbridge was the recipient of the the Gold Medal of Excellence from Conservatory Canada in 2001.
