Vamos, Maninha Volume II is a collection of 38 Brazilian folk and popular songs. These works have been collected and skillfully arranged by Ernst Mahle for the late elementary-to-intermediate level pianist. Always tuneful and interesting, this excellent collection provides opportunities for sight-reading studies, developing “new” rhythmic clichés (syncopations), improving coordination of the hands (independence), mastering chords in block position, understanding fingering, and ensemble playing (four-hands pieces).
