These pieces were composed for the late elementary to early intermediate level student. Intended for the specific purpose of aiding in the development of reading skills, these pieces are designed to be relatively easy to read but difficult to memorize.
Each can be played either as a solo or with a secondo duet part that can be played on the same keyboard. Different scales and modes are introduced. Study notes and a table of modes are included in the printed book which is sold separately.
According to the composer: “These are solo pieces using different scales and modes. Optional duet accompaniments are playable on one keyboard. Unique. Two thumbs up, in my modest assessment!”
