Drops of Brandy – A Traditional Irish Slip Jig, Arranged by Jenny Walker

Drops of Brandy is a delightful slip jig (also known as a hop jig), likely of Irish origin but often played in Scotland. Typical of the genre, this piece is a lively dance in 9/8 time. Although the music eminates from the folk fiddle tradition, this arrangement is brilliantly conceived for intermediate level pianists of all ages. Pianist and arranger Jenny Walker has also provided a MIDI performance of the work!
